These Terms of Use (hereinafter “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Fileify platform, available at https://fileify.app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Service Description

Fileify is an AI-powered professional document generation platform. The service allows you to create CVs, cover letters, business cards and flyers from information you provide and/or data extracted from uploaded documents.

Documents are generated by language models (AI) and may require proofreading and adjustments by the user. Fileify does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of generated content.

3. User Account

  • You must provide accurate information during registration.
  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • An account is strictly personal and may not be shared or transferred.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Credits and Billing

  • The service operates on a credit system. Each pack grants a defined number of generation and editing credits.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros including tax.
  • Purchased credits never expire.
  • Credits are debited before generation. In case of service failure, credits are automatically refunded.
  • No refunds are granted for consumed credits (successfully generated documents).
  • One free generation credit is granted upon registration.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Your content: you retain full ownership of the information and files you submit to the platform.
  • Generated documents: documents generated by Fileify belong to you. You may use, modify and distribute them freely.
  • Platform: the source code, design, templates and trademarks of Fileify remain the exclusive property of Fileify. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification or redistribution is prohibited.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to generate illegal, defamatory, discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to bypass service limitations or automatically extract data (scraping).
  • Resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the service without authorization.
  • Introduce viruses, malware or any malicious code onto the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • Fileify is provided “as is.” We strive to ensure availability and quality but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
  • Fileify shall not be held liable for indirect damages, including data loss, loss of revenue or lost profits.
  • AI-generated content is provided as an aid. It is your responsibility to review and adapt documents before use.

8. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account in case of violation of these Terms, without prior notice or compensation.
  • Upon termination, unused credits are not refundable.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the platform. In case of a substantial modification, we will notify you by email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of France, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
